For those following along, my media company, Mila & Jo Media is growing rapidly. Since our inception in September 2023, we’ve launched two microsites, The Mother Chapter & Miscarriage Movement. As our business is growing, so our families: I’m due with my second daughter in November and my co-founder, Jenn Sinrich, is expecting her third child in August.
As our business grows, I wanted to share current/timely opportunities, as well as ongoing ones.

CURRENT/TIMELY
-We’re still seeking Amazon Prime Day deals to include in our newsletter. Please note while our audience is pregnant/postpartum, they’re also women who like general beauty, fashion, home, travel, etc. goods as well. You don’t stop loving those things when you become a mom ;) Read info here on how to format your pitch.
-August is breastfeeding awareness month: We’re seeking first-person essays, Q&As with experts/entrepreneurs/celebrities/influencers, breastfeeding products, giveaways, and more.
-Motherhood is an Olympic sport: We have two interviews coming out with Olympian mothers and a giveaway, but we’d love to hear from mother athletes and/or brands talking about motherhood in this way.
ONGOING OPPORTUNITIES
-Bylined essays. We’ve worked with dozens of mother entrepreneurs, influencers and celebrities to help them tell their story & promote their businesses. We are always open to hearing ideas for both of our microsites. We’ve interested in these timely topics, but also anything that comes up.
-Body image and working out during pregnancy/postpartum
-Traveling pregnant, postpartum & early motherhood
-Labor & delivery/birth stories
-Summer pregnancy & postpartum stories
-Travel stories: We have a new travel section where we cover content from four angles: moms traveling with other moms, solo mom travel, couple travel & family travel. If you represent a hotel or destination open to media experiences, please let us know.
-The Motherhood Identity Series: This Q&A series features mother entrepreneurs, celebrities & influencers who talk about how motherhood changed their identity, careers, body-image, friendship, etc. and more. We’ve featured actress Mayim Bialik, Peloton’s Kirsten Ferguson, and many others.
-My Miscarriage Story: This Q&A series highlights entrepreneurs, celebrities & influencers who have experienced miscarriage/pregnancy loss. This is a new series, but we have many interviews in progress, including some celebrities!
-Social giveaways: We’re always up for social giveaways with brands who are willing to cross-promote!
